Giovanbattista advises on judicial and extrajudicial matters in the fields of maritime law, transport and customs law, insurance law, administrative law, environmental law and real estate law.

Between 2001 and 2004 Giovanbattista has been an official of the Italian Navy Army (Marina Militare Italiana del Corpo delle Capitanerie di Porto), where, after completing his training at the Naval Academy of Livorno, he served as Capo Sezione Contenzioso e Polizia Giudiziaria at the Capitaneria di Porto di Chioggia (Venice) and the Capitaneria di Porto di Portoferraio (Isola d’Elba).

Since 2018 he is speaker and lecturer for the Master in Transport Law and the Master in Navigation Law organized by Altalex - Wolters Kluwer Italia S.r.l.
