Jean-Claude Chebli is a founding Partner of Epalex, MEG Legal Services in Dubai. He is a member of the Bar of the Province of Quebec, Canada, since 1988 and the founder and owner of the Chebli & Associates law firm located in downtown Montreal, Canada. He has been practicing law in Canada since 1990 in various legal fields, namely: civil, corporate and commercial law as well as Canadian immigration and citizenship law, and in Dubai since the establishment of MEG Legal Services in 2009.
Jean-Claude has represented individuals and corporations in the above areas of law and has brought out very successful results. Additionally, he has worked extensively with other bar associations, including the Canadian Bar Association and the Province of Quebec Bar, as well as with the Montreal Superior Court judges and courts on administrative and policy matters connected with the courts and the practice of law.
Besides his experience in drafting contracts, litigation and all matters related to the commercial and corporate law, Mr. Chebli has collaborated with the Ministry of Justice of Quebec in considering, studying and writing some amendments to the Civil Act and its regulations.
Jean-Claude holds a “Master’s Degree in Private Law” from the Saint Joseph University (Beirut) and the University of Lyon (France). He also holds an LL.B in Private Law from the University of Montreal (Quebec), Canada.
