Rita Abou Samra
Rita assists the litigation department at our firm with drafting legal memoranda, motions, briefs and other documents in complex litigation matters. She also researches and gathers information on relevant laws, judicial decisions, legal articles and other materials to support attorneys in the development of cases. Moreover, Rita regularly provides strategic recommendations to clients in personal status, banking, labor and employment, real estate and maritime matters. She also supports the corporate department by ensuring that companies are in compliance with Lebanese regulations and prepares the necessary documentation, including drafting minutes of meetings and agreements, as well as providing general corporate advice on a day-to-day basis.
Rita assists the marketing team and manages relations with the media as well.
Prior to joining Eptalex, she gained experience in research and preparing various reports containing descriptive, analytical and evaluative content. She participated in an inter-university program on International Criminal Law and Procedure organized in cooperation with the T.M.C. Asser Institute The Hague, the International and Transitional Justice Resource Center and the Special Tribunal for Lebanon. She also obtained relevant certificates in ADR and intellectual property.
On a personal note, she is a civil activist who was a Lebanese Red Cross volunteer for four years.
Rita was admitted to the Beirut Bar Association in 2022. She was selected by the Beirut Bar and Paris Bar to participate in the International Internship in Paris and did an internship at Valmy Avocats where she assisted the Litigation, Restructuring and Energy departments.
