Massimiliano manages the baking and finance litigation practice at the Eptalex office in Milan and is one of the two founding partnerd of the firm “Battaglia e Bina Avvocati Associati” with offices in Varese.

Over the course of his career, he has gained experience in banking law litigation, defending leading banks in enforcement proceedings, in insolvency proceedings, in lawsuits on banking contracts regulated by the TUB and on financial instruments regulated by the TUF.

Massimiliano provides regular judicial  assistance and advice to the insolvency practitioner in disputes brought by, or against, third parties, in damages actions promoted against former management, audit board and others auditors, and to protect the interests of persons who suffer the effects of insolvecy proceedings because they are creditors or holders of rights involved in the bankruptcy. He also acts as insolvency practitioner and as judge's delegate in enforcement proceedings for the realisation of assets.

Massimiliano is also professor of Legal Ethics and law of lawyering at the University of Insubria, Varese.

He is the author of several publications on civil procedural law, civil enforcement proceedings law, insolvency law, comparative civil procedural law, Legal Ethics and law of lawyering, both in Italian and English.
