Abdullah AlHemaid is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law, capital markets, and public-private partnerships across Saudi Arabia. Currently a Partner at Abdulaziz Alassaf & Co, Abdullah leads on complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and giga-project PPP agreements. He has advised both public and private sector clients on corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and cross-border commercial dealings.
Previously, Abdullah served as Chief of Legal Affairs at a prominent government entity, where he played a leading role in drafting and negotiating international agreements with countries such as Italy, the United Kingdom, and South Korea. His work involved liaising with the Bureau of Experts at the Council of Ministers and managing legislative and regulatory drafting projects, including statutes, by-laws, and governance frameworks.
His earlier experience includes roles at the Capital Markets Authority and law firms in Riyadh, where he was involved in litigation, regulatory investigations, and high-stakes arbitration.
Abdullah holds two LL.M. degrees from top U.S. institutions: Georgetown University Law Center (International Business & Economy) and UC Berkeley (Intellectual Property & Technology), in addition to a Bachelor of Laws with Honors from Dar Al Uloom University in Riyadh.
He has served as a delegate to the UN Youth Assembly and held roles in key national committees, including TRITA’s grievance and bids evaluation committees.
